Functions I can do straight through i.e. without any need to submit any documents
Select the 'Banking' section in the top menu on the Citibank Online home page and then click on the below options to view the process to be followed:
Generate your APIN
Receive account statement on e-mail
Add a new payee for funds transfers
Transfer funds within India/Overseas
Change your Mobile number/Email ID/Address
Request an ATM/Debit card in case your card is lost/stolen
Book deposits / Change maturity details of existing deposits

Instructions I can submit using 'Submit Documents' facility
Click on the respective transaction below for the form required to be filled and submitted. You can then upload a copy of the form along with any additional documents as per the simple seven-step process described in the section – "How to submit documents using Citibank Online?". Please ensure the size of the attachment uploaded does not exceed 2 MB.

- Click here to download Form 60. For KYC / PAN / Passport, please upload a copy of the corresponding document.
- Click here to download the transfer request form and submit it to your bank to initiate the wire transfer to Citi NRI account.

How to submit documents using Citibank Online?

- Click on 'Submit Documents' in the left navigation menu
- Click ‘Upload documents’
- Select your account
- Choose the purpose of document upload from the drop down basis your requirement
- You will be prompted to enter OAC sent to your registered mobile number
- Upload the required document and submit
- To view status of your submission, click ‘View status’ in the left hand navigation menu.

Citibank Global Transfer(For transferring funds from Citi to Citi accounts)

Wire (Funds) Transfer(For transferring funds from Citi to non – Citi accounts)
- From your Citibank Non-Resident External (NRE) Rupee Checking Account to any overseas account

Add new payee for fund transfers
- To add a payee, login to the app and follow the below six-step process.
(Don’t know the IFSC code for the beneficiary account in Step 3? Click the “Don’t know IFSC” option to provide the bank name, city and branch location and proceed.)
Are there any limits on the number of payees that I can add using the Citi Mobile app?
In a 24-hour period, a maximum of 6 payees can be added across all accounts. Additionally, there a limit of INR 50,000 for 24-hour period after adding a payee. For example, if you have added a payee today at 3 PM, you cannot transfer more than INR 50,000 till 3 PM tomorrow.
Initiate fund transfers within India from my NRE checking account
Funds can be transferred in India using NEFT and beneficiaries typically receive funds within the next business day.
To initiate a fund transfer, login to the app and follow the below four-step process:
- Select ‘Payment and Transfers’ option from the left navigation menu
- From the dropdown, select the account type you want to transfer funds to (e.g. Citi account, other bank account) (Want to add a new payee? Refer to section – "Add new payee for fund transfers")
- Select the account to be debited, the beneficiary, and amount to be transferred
- Confirm the fund transfer
Is there any limit on the amount and number of NEFT transactions I can initiate daily?
There is a limit of INR 10 Lakhs per day for transfers using Citi Mobile app. The same is applicable from 00:00 to 24:00 IST on any given day.
