What is Product Category Knowledge declaration? How to declare it on the Citi Mobile App?

Before you can start investing, you have to complete an intermediate step where you let us know the investment products you have knowledge of or have experienced before. This declaration is termed as Product Category Knowledge (PCK) declaration. You just have to select the investment products you are familiar with from a list of products. How to declare your Product Category Knowledge on the Citi Mobile App?
You can declare your PCK in two ways depending on whether you have an investment services account or not.

1. If you don’t have an investment services account with Citi, you will be asked to complete PCK during the account opening process on Citi Mobile App. Below is the illustration to guide you through the steps:
- Login to your Citi Mobile App and click on ‘Easy investing’
- Open your investment services account with Citi and click on ‘Risk Profiling Questionnaire’ after your account is opened
- Complete your risk profiling and ‘confirm’ your rating
- After the risk profiling step, the PCK step will be triggered. Select products you have knowledge of and experience in.
- Confirm on the product(s) selected
- That’s it. You’re done! Click on ‘Invest Now’ to begin investing with Citi!
2. If you have an investment services account already, you can declare your PCK from the ‘Track & Manage’ tab. Below is the illustration to guide you through the steps:
- Login to your Citi Mobile App and click on ‘Easy investing’
- Click on ‘Track & Manage’
- Click on ‘My PCK and Risk Profile’
- Click on ‘Update your Product Category Knowledge (PCK)’
- Select funds from the list you have knowledge of and experience in.
- Confirm your selection of product(s)
- That’s it. You’re done! Click on ‘OK’ and you will be redirected to your portfolio screen so that you can continue investing with Citi!
