How to register?
You can register for statement on E-mail by:
- Clicking on the 'Register Now' tab and filling the request form
- Logging into your account online through 'Citibank Online' and clicking on the register tab in the statements page
- Calling 24x7 CitiPhone number and placing a request.
How to read the statement?
Your statement is divided into three parts for easy readability:
- The first part informs you about your card/account details, date of statement etc.
- The second part provides a detailed description of the transactions on your Banking/Card relationship.
- The last part lists the total balance available in your banking account or the total outstanding amount and minimum amount due on your Credit Card.
On your Card statements, you will also receive your Reward Points status and relevant Card related offers.
Steps to do if statement not received
In case of non-receipt of statement, you can:
- Recommended: Login to www.citibank.co.in using your Internet Password (IPIN) and check your account status. If you do not have an Internet Password (IPIN), you can generate one online.
- Login to CBOL, and place a request for a duplicate statement.
- Call 24x7 CitiPhone Priority Service Numbers and get details of your account. You can also get the statements for the last 3 months' faxed to you by using the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) facility.
Meanwhile, you can also make your payment on the basis of the CitiAlert you would have received on your
Mobile / E-mail.
Statement on E-mail is a soft copy of your Credit Card or Account Statement that is delivered to your E-mail address. The standard format for sending the account statement is the PDF format.
On opening the PDF, you will be asked to enter a 9 Character password.
Your Unique password consists of the first 4 letters of your name/name of your company (as given in your account opening form), followed by the date and month of birth/date of inception of the company (in DDMMM format) Kindly enter the password either in upper or lower case and do not include any special characters.
For example, if the name in your account is Roopa Lal and the date of birth is 23-12-1976, then your password will be ROOP23DEC or roop23dec.
You can sign up for Statement on E-mail by logging onto Citibank Online and selecting 'Statement on E-mail' under the Banking/Credit Card tab. You may also sign-up by calling our 24-Hr. CitiPhone Priority Service Numbers. Our CitiPhone officers will be happy to assist you.
Your Statement on E-mail is sent to you in a 128-bit encrypted format and can only be viewed using your unique password, making it completely safe and secure.
You can change the E-mail address at which you wish to receive your Statement on E-mail by visiting Citibank Online. Login to your account using your IPIN and select 'Update Contact Details' under the Banking/Credit Card tab to change your E-mail address.
It is recommended that you use Adobe Acrobat Reader version 6.0 or above to view Statement on E-mail, as older versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader do not support this feature. You may also request your Statement on E-mail through Citibank Online by visiting the Statement on E-mail section under the Banking/Credit Card tab.
Please click on the Statement on E-mail PDFs sent to your E-mail address and save them on your computer. Open the saved document. You will be prompted to enter your unique password, which should be a combination of the first four letters of your name (as mentioned on your Credit Card or Account Statement), followed by the first four numbers of your date of birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format). Enter the password and click OK. The document will now open. Go to the file option and give the print command. Your document will be printed.
Please click on the Statement on E-mail PDFs sent to your E-mail address and save them on your computer for future reference. You may also request your Statement on E-mail through Citibank Online by visiting the Statement on E-mail section under the Banking/Credit Card tab: Download and view the last 18 months' statement from Citibank Online anytime, anywhere. Request duplicate statements from Citibank Online with the option of having your unmasked account details/address printed on your Statement on E-mail for documentation purposes.
Statements on E-mail are FREE!
Each statement cycle Citibank will send you an E-mail notification that your statement is ready. You can download the statement which would be an attachment to the E-mail.
Your e-Statement contains the same information as your paper statement. The e-Statement itself is a Portable Document Format (PDF) version of your paper statement and looks exactly like the paper statements you're used to receiving in the mail.
All Citibank accounts are eligible for Statements on E-mail.
Your most current statement is always available to you whenever you log in to your Online Banking account, regardless of whether you receive an E-mail notification.
If you haven't received your e-Statement on mail but can view it on Citibank online, the most likely reason is that your E-mail statement has bounced. If your registered E-mail address is different from the one you are currently using, we urge you to update the same on Citibank online.
