Vivek Gomes

Head-Citicorp Finance India Ltd

Vivek has been in his current role since December 2023.

Vivek is the Head of Citicorp Finance India Limited (CFIL), a Citigroup subsidiary operating as a Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) in India. He is a seasoned professional with over 23 years of banking and treasury experience across banks and Financial Institutions. He joined Citi in 2005.

Vivek’s previous role was that of India Corporate Treasury Head, covering all the legal vehicles of Citi in India, with responsibilities spanning ALCO governance, balance sheet liquidity and interest rate risk management, funds transfer pricing and capital management. Prior to Citi, Vivek was with Exim Bank of India for four years, which included stints on the Treasury ALM desk.

Vivek has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Goa College of Engineering and an MBA in Finance from Goa University. He is also a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the CFA Institute and GARP, respectively.
