Leena Aich

Head - Securities Services

Leena has been in her current role since April 2023.

Leena is Head of the Securities Services business. She is responsible for the Securities Services franchise in Indian subcontinent (India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka), including Custody, Fund and Issuer Services businesses.

Leena has over 25 years of experience and joined Citi India in Securities Services in 2004. She has been instrumental in leading some of the largest custody acquisitions and transitions both in the cross-border and domestic segments, helping Citi establish itself as the leading custodian in India. Leena has also spent two years with Citi India Commercial Bank as the Liabilities Group Western Region Head. Prior to joining Citi, Leena worked with SBI Asset Management, Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank across Product, Operations and Business Management functions.

Leena is the Co-Chair of the Citi Women’s Network in Mumbai and is a keen marathoner. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Law from the University of Mumbai. She is also a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
