Simple steps to remove ‘Dormancy’ and ‘Whereabouts Unknown’ status
Your account could be temporarily blocked because of the following 2 reasons:
Your account may be in 'Dormant' status due to inactivity in the account for more than 24 months
Physical letters sent to your address may be getting returned and your account would have been placed in 'address confirmation pending' status for mutual protection

3Once logged in, your screen will look as below. Click on Activate.
Update your KYC by choosing one of the two options below appearing on your screen.
I have submitted a valid KYC document in the past. I would like to verify the KYC document number

Select Account number and Document Type (Voter ID/Passport/Driving License)

Click on Continue

Add KYC Document Number (Voter ID/Passport/Driving License) and click on Continue

Upon successful KYC submission, following screen will appear. Now proceed to Funds Transfer to execute a financial transaction to complete the activation process.

If your KYC submission fails, follow the steps to upload KYC documents.

Select dormant account, purpose of upload as Dormant Documents Submission and appropriate Document Type from the drop down list (Voter ID, Passport, Driving License)
Please Note: A clear copy of Passport (first page and address page) or Driving License (front and back) or Voter ID (front and back) is required to be uploaded. The file size upload limit is 2MB.

Enter OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on Validate OTP.

Browse and upload address proof and click on Submit.

A confirmation message will be displayed after successful upload of KYC Documents. Now proceed to Funds Transfer.
Execute Financial Transaction
1Please ensure your account is funded to complete the initiated financial transaction.

You may initiate a transaction between the two linked accounts or between a dormant account to any other account using NEFT or DD mode.
3If you have more than one dormant account, you may make the transfer between the dormant accounts in order to activate all of them. Please note unless financial transaction is successful in the dormant account, the dormancy will not be removed.
4 Please allow us up to 5 working days to verify your KYC request and process the financial transaction. You can track the status of the request under 'view status' option

Confirm your address in not more than two steps and activate your account.

Click on Click here to upload address proof.

Select purpose of upload as Banking Chad Proof Submission and select appropriate Document Type (Passport/Driving License/Voter ID).
Please Note: A clear copy of Passport (first page and address page) or Driving License (front and back) or Voter ID (front and back) is required to be uploaded. The file size upload limit is 2MB. If the proof is more than one page, upload all the relevant pages as one single file.

Enter OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on Validate OTP.

Browse and upload address proof and click on Submit.

A confirmation window will be shown. Now proceed to update address online by selecting Click here.

Choose your Account/Relationship No from dropdown and click on generate OTP. Choose click here to authorize changes in the screen that follows.

Click on Authorize. Enter OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on Confirm.

Click on Edit next to Address Details and update address details. Click on Next.

In the window that appears, tick the two checkboxes and click on Confirm to complete the process.
