Reactivate your Dormant Account today:

Activating a dormant account is a 2-step process:

• Update KYC
  • 1Go to https://www.online.citibank.co.in/ and login by clicking on LOGIN NOW
  • 2Enter your Online User ID and internet-banking password (IPIN). If you are unable to login, choose one of the options below.
  • • I forgot my online User ID and/or password

      Click on Forgot User ID or password

      Click on Retrieve USER ID if you have forgotten your Online User ID. Click on GET IPIN if you have forgotten your internet password.

      iii

      Select type of account (NR Rupee Checking Account or Banking/Suvidha) depending on your account type.

      iv

      Enter details of your debit card and click on Proceed

      v

      Authenticate account information by entering OTP.

      vi

      Retrieve User ID or create new PIN.

      vii

      Proceed to Login on https://www.online.citibank.co.in/
    • I never created Online User ID

      Click on First Time User? Register Now

      ii

      Select type of account (NR Rupee Checking Account or Banking/Suvidha) depending on your account type.

      iii

      Enter details of your debit card and click on Proceed

      iv

      Authenticate account information by entering OTP.

      Choose a User ID for Online Banking. Click on Proceed.

      Choose PIN for internet banking.

      vii

      Proceed to Login on https://www.online.citibank.co.in/
    • 3 Once logged in, your screen will look as below. Click on Activate.

      Update your KYC by choosing one of the two options below appearing on your screen.

    • I have submitted a valid KYC document in the past. I would like to verify the KYC document number

      Select Account number and Document Type (Voter ID/Passport/Driving License)

      Click on Continue

      Add KYC Document Number (Voter ID/Passport/Driving License) and click on Continue

      iv

      Upon successful KYC submission, following screen will appear. Now proceed to Funds Transfer to execute a financial transaction to complete the activation process.

      If your KYC submission fails, follow the steps to upload KYC documents.
    • I have not submitted a valid KYC document in the past. I would like to upload the KYC document

      Select dormant account, purpose of upload as Dormant Documents Submission and appropriate Document Type from the drop down list (Voter ID, Passport, Driving License)

      Please Note: A clear copy of Passport (first page and address page) or Driving License (front and back) or Voter ID (front and back) is required to be uploaded. The file size upload limit is 2MB.

      Enter OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on Validate OTP.

      Browse and upload address proof and click on Submit.

      iv

      A confirmation message will be displayed after successful upload of KYC Documents. Now proceed to Funds Transfer.
• Execute Financial Transaction
  • 1Please ensure your account is funded to complete the initiated financial transaction.
  • 2
    You may initiate a transaction between the two linked accounts or between a dormant account to any other account using NEFT or DD mode.
  • 3If you have more than one dormant account, you may make the transfer between the dormant accounts in order to activate all of them. Please note unless financial transaction is successful in the dormant account, the dormancy will not be removed.
  • 4 Please allow us up to 5 working days to verify your KYC request and process the financial transaction. You can track the status of the request under 'view status' option
