You can transfer funds in Indian Rupees from your Rupee Checking Account to any another bank account in India. You can chose to do online transfers either through the National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) system or the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system.

Within Citibank Network: Citibank India facilitates transfer of fund to any account registered within Citibank in India
Demand Draft: If you would like to send money to friends or family or would like to make a payment, you can order for a Demand Draft online to be delivered to any beneficiary at over 700 locations in India, from your Citibank Rupee Checking Account. The beneficiary will receive the Draft normally within five business days.

Log In to Citibank Online → Banking → Transfer funds → Click Transfer to third party account → Add payee

Log In to Citibank Online → Banking → Transfer funds → Click To other Bank Account → Add Payee. Next you will be directed to another screen to choose Transfer Type. Select NEFT

Select → Outside Citibank Network → NEFT→ Enter fund transfer details in the screen that appears. Payee Name should be as per beneficiary's bank record

Enter New payee details → Submit.

From here, you can again proceed in two ways:
a) If you have the IFSC Code for the beneficiary bank, click on Yes radio button
Enter IFSC Code text box appears. Enter the IFSC Code of the beneficiary bank and click on Get Bank Details → Enter beneficiary & account details
b) If you don't have the IFSC Code for the beneficiary bank, No→Enter Bank Name → City → Branch Location→ IFSC is auto filled Enter beneficiary & account details
Re-confirm Payee details & Select checkbox to receive One Time Password → Click Confirm
Once you receive OTP on your registered email id & mobile number → Select Authorize Payee now
Enter 6- digit OTP → Click Authorize Payee Now
Congratulations you have successfully added a Payee for NEFT fund transfer!!

Select the checkbox to receive OTP → Click Confirm
Re-verify details, on receiving OTP on registered Email ID & mobile number → Select Authorize Payee Now
Enter the 6-digit OTP & click Authorize Payee Now
You have successfully added a New RTGS Payee to your Registered Payee List.

The beneficiary will receive the Draft normally within five business days. However, we strongly recommend using NEFT/RTGS option for making the payment instead of Demand draft
