How to Change your Address on Citibank Online

If you are an existing Citi customer and need to change or update your registered address with us, simply log on to using your Username and Internet Password (IPIN) and follow the below process:

  • Login to your Account and click on the ‘Banking’ or ‘Credit Card’ tab.
  • Click on ‘Contact Details’.
  • Click on ‘View/Edit’ under Contact Details.
  • Choose relationship to view/edit contact details.

    Please note that guidance screens are provided for Credit Cards and Banking.

  • Enter OTP sent to your registered number to View/Edit contact details.
  • View/Edit contact details for relationship selected in Step 4 above.
  • Edit Residence/Office/Mailing address by using ‘Edit’ button.

    Please Note – If a proof of residence is available on bank records for your Residence address, no proof will be required for change in your office address or choice of mailing address.

    However if the same is not available, we will require a proof of your Residence address to make these changes.

  • Update relevant contact details (Residence/Office/Mailing) and ‘Save’ the changes to continue.
  • Next Step is to review the changes and upload proof for change in address. You may view list of acceptable documents by using ‘here’ button.
  • Select the address proof and choose file to upload.
  • Select ‘Proceed to upload’ tab to upload address proof.
  • Review changes and ‘Submit’ the change request.
  • Now Address update request is submitted.

    Please Note - You will receive a confirmation once the processing is complete.

7.Edit Residence/Office/Mailing address by using ‘Edit’ button.

8.Update relevant contact details (Residence/Office) and ‘Save’ the changes to continue.

9.Next Step is to review the changes and upload proof for change in address. You may view list of acceptable documents by using ‘here’ button.

10.Select the address proof and choose file to upload.

11.Select ‘Proceed to upload’ tab to upload address proof.

12.Review changes and ‘Submit’ the change request.

13.Now Address update request is submitted.

Need help logging in?

While submitting your address proof, do keep in mind that the document (or copy) is from the following list of acceptable documents:

  • Valid Passport with address page
  • Valid Driving License with address
  • Voter’s Identity Card issued by the Election Commission of India
  • Job Card issued by NREGA duly signed by an officer of the State Government
  • Letter issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India containing details of name, address and Aadhaar number, i.e. copy of Aadhaar Card**
  • Letter issued by the National Population Register containing details of name, address or any other document as notified by the Central Government in consultation with the Regulator

Important criteria: It should match with the new address updated in bank records and should be valid and not expired. Also, the name and DOB on the uploaded document should match that on the Credit Card/Bank account.
Scan each page of your KYC document and upload/submit as a single document. If you are submitting your self-attested Passport Copy, please scan all the pages containing Address, Photo and Signature, failing which the submission will not be considered complete.

**By submitting a copy of your Aadhaar Card to Citibank, you confirm and agree that the Bank has duly explained to you that submission of Aadhaar Card is no longer mandatory and you have the option to submit any one of the above documents towards submission of KYC / proof of address document. You are providing your Aadhaar card as an officially valid document proof to Citibank voluntarily and hereby authorize Citibank to use your Aadhaar as proof of address/KYC document in accordance with extant rules and regulations. In case you are submitting/uploading copy of your Aadhaar card, please ensure to blacken out the only the first 8 digits of Aadhaar number so that they are not visible while ensuring last four digits are visible on the Aadhaar card before submitting/uploading. Please note that your uploaded document will be rejected by the bank if any of the listed criteria is not met.
