Step 1: Download the Citi Mobile App

Get 24*7 access to your Citi Credit Card. Simply download the Citi Mobile App in any of the following ways:

  • Scan the QR code below

  • SMS MBANK to 52484
  • Search for Citi India Mobile App at Google Play Store or Apple App Store
Step 2: Create your User ID and Password for internet and mobile banking

If you already have a Password, you can continue using the same User ID and Internet Password (IPIN). You can also click on ‘Forgot User ID or Password’ on your Citi Mobile App or Citibank Online to reset your login details.

To generate a new User ID and Password, follow the steps below.

  • Generate User ID and Password on your Citi Mobile App. You can see the quick self-help video below.
  • To generate them on Citibank Online, follow the steps below.
    1. Click on First Time User on Citibank Online
    2. Fill out Product Information details and click on ‘Proceed’
    3. Authenticate by entering the OTP sent to your registered mobile number
    4. Enter User ID of your choice
    5. Set up your Internet Password (IPIN)
    6. Set up your Card ATM PIN
    7. That’s it! You’re done. You can now login to Citibank Online using your User ID and Password and enjoy the many benefits on your card.

    Alternatively, you can call our 24*7 CitiPhone number on 1860 210 2484 to directly set up TPIN via IVR under PIN related queries. If you are on call with a CitiPhone Officer, they can conference the call with IVR and help you set up your TPIN on that conference call.

Step 3: Enable online, contactless and international transactions on your card and set usage limits
  • Your card is auto-enabled for Domestic ATM and Point of Sale (PoS) transactions. Online, international and contactless* transactions are blocked by default to ensure safety.
  • Simply enable or set up desired limits for online, international and contactless transactions on your Citi Mobile App or Citibank Online.
  • Here’s a video for step-by-step instructions.
  • Once your transactions are enabled, you can pay bills or set up Standing Instructions as per your convenience.
  • Please note: The primary card holder can set all the limits and enable/disable transactions for their add-on cards.
  • *Citi Credit Cards can be used for contactless transactions up to Rs 5000 without PIN and above Rs 5000 with PIN.
