Cheque Books

NRE / NRO account holders are issued a Cheque Book at the time of account opening. This is sent as part of the account opening welcome kit .

You will get one Cheque Book for your Non-Resident External Rupee Checking Account and another Cheque Book for your Non-Resident Ordinary Rupee Checking Account, if you chose to open both accounts. Your account number and account type will be clearly mentioned on the face of the cheques.

The Cheque Books issued for both type of accounts are for payments in Indian rupees only and are payable at par.

To order a Cheque Book

• Login to your account
• Click on the "Other banking services", under the banking tab on the left hand navigation bar
• You can choose to request for a Cheque Book containing 10 or 25 leaves
