Citibank Banking Services - FAQs

All you need to know about the Citibank Banking Services.

Update Contact Details

You can change your Mailing/Residential/Office Address instantly -online!

Please login to Citibank Online with your User ID and IPIN (click here if you don't have one) and choose the option "Your contact details". Recommended

You can view/update any of your contact details here. To update your mailing address, you will be issued another Online Authentication Code (OAC), which you will receive on your registered mobile number/E-mail ID. You may also call our phone banking officers.

Alternatively, you can change your Mailing/Residential/Office Address through a written instruction along with a valid address proof, duly signed by the authorised signatory. This written instruction along with the proof of address can be:

  • Sent to the nearest Citibank branch
  • Mailed to P.O. Box 4830, Anna Salai, Chennai - 600 002
  • Couriered/Sent by registered post to Citibank N.A., Mail Room, No.2, Club House Road, Chennai - 600 002

Documents Required

The required documents are:

  • The joint holder addition form duly filled up and signed by all the holders
  • One recent photo of new holder
  • Two introduction documents required for the holder as per the new introduction documents requirement covering identity, signature and address. The introduction documents have to be attested by a Citibank Officer after sighting of original identity documents

Charges for non-maintenance of monthly relationship value would be Rs. 500 per month for Savings Account, Rs. 250 for Suvidha Account and Rs. 600 for Current Account.

Ensure that you are entering your IPIN in small cases. You can also generate an IPIN instantly on Citibank Online, in case this does not work.

Cheque Deposit

You may deposit a cheque at any of the Citibank Branches or at any Citibank ATM Centre. Click here to find your nearest ATM Centre. Kindly use the cheque deposit slips available at the Branch / ATM Centres.
